“It is not up to us to demand that nature produces more, it is
up to us to do much more with what nature already offers us.”

Circular Economy

Waste is a concept that humankind created. It’s time to let it go.

We generate added value at every stage of our cradle to cradle mushroom concept. We transform local waste materials in living mushrooms and soil. Everything is used and generates value, like in nature. Let’s accept that the linear view on economy was a mistake and move on into a sustainable future. It’s time to evolve and transform our society as well as the underlying business models.

Healthy Food

We focus on nature close mushroom farming, inspired by nature.

Not only did we as humans invent the concept of waste, we also focused on continuous growth as the only goal, it was all about producing more and more food - the nutritions of this food were if at all secondary and the plants became less and less resilient. This is why we from Pfälzer Power Pilze have a local concept and act in line with nature, moving away from classical in-house farming concepts.

Healthy Soil

The soil is the skin of the earth and due to that the biggest possibility to influence the climate by binding CO2.

We just borrow the residue materials from agriculture and once we used them to create added value, we refine them, and give them back to nature as so called Terra Preta. And while doing this, we’re binding CO2 from the atmosphere and store it into the soil. We create local economy loops, aim to make the word “waste” obsolete, produce healthy and sustainable food, and we also finish this loop by giving back to nature and healing the soil.
